Global Issues Network

Global Issues Network (GIN) is a club of secondary students which meets once a week after school to raise awareness of issues of global significance. The members of this club are in regular contact with Global Issues networks at other schools around the world and usually attend a conference in Europe during the school year.

One example of GIN activities was the planning, organisation and running of a student collapsed day on consumerism.

GIN is currently working with WISER (Women’s Institute for Secondary Education and Research) and consequently ISHR has become a partner school of a girls’ school in Kenya for which the GIN has committed itself to raising € 700 a year for the next four years.
